Join DLR Group as a Studio Leader for our Education Sector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Studio Leader to lead our Education Sector in Northern California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing strategies to enhance our brand and design excellence, and leading an integrated design team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and grow our Education Sector in Northern California, collaborating with other sector leaders and business development professionals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance our brand and design excellence, working closely with the Regional Sector Leader and Global Sector Leader.
  • Identify new project opportunities, lead relationship building with clients, and participate in the RFQ process and interviews for new project opportunities.
  • Lead an integrated design team, ensuring all DLR Group practice standards are followed during the duration of the project.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and adhere to the project work plan and schedule.
  • Lead contract negotiations and approve all contract changes.
  • Mentor team members and participate in hiring, training, and onboarding of new staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in a client-facing role for multiple K-12 or Community College projects.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for a work visa or residency sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
  • Licensed Architect.
  • 10+ years of DSA, CDE, OPSC Experience.

The potential pay range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 annually.
