Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Endocrinology Clinic team. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with endocrine disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and laboratory results.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in an ambulatory care setting.
  • Knowledge of Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) System.
  • Telephone triage experience.
  • Prior knowledge/experience working with regulatory standards (e.g. CMS, Joint Commission).
