Caregiver Support Specialist

A Caregiver Support Specialist provides vital care and support to individuals residing in a group home setting. This role involves assisting residents with daily activities, fostering a safe and nurturing environment, and promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Living Assistance: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation; ensure adherence to prescribed medication schedules; support residents in developing independent living skills.
- Health and Safety: Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to medical professionals; maintain a clean, safe, and orderly living environment; implement and follow safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Emotional and Social Support: Foster a supportive and positive environment; plan and participate in recreational and social activities; encourage residents to engage in community activities and build social networks.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of residents' progress, behaviors, and incidents; prepare and submit reports as required by supervisors or regulatory agencies; ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff members and supervisors; participate in staff meetings and training sessions; support team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 per year (depending on experience and location).
