- Oversee the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address potential safety risks and concerns.
- Operational Management
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department, including inventory management, supply chain logistics, and budgeting.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Education and Training
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure that staff members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement educational programs for patients and families.
- Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role in a pharmacy setting.
- Proven track record of success in improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing patient care.
- Certifications and Licensure
- Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of North Carolina.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience
- Experience in a hospital or health system setting.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance.

- Board certification in pharmacy administration or a related field.
