Culinary Specialist

Garcia's Mexican Restaurant is seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, following Garcia's recipes and standards
• Ensure food is cooked to order with consistent flavor, presentation, and portioning
• Assist with prepping ingredients, stocking kitchen supplies, and maintaining inventory as-needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• A good sense of balance, the ability to multi-task, lift up to 50 pounds waist high, and stand for long periods of time
• Basic reading, writing, verbal communication skills, and the willingness to work with others as a team
• The ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours in length
• The ability to use motion that entails bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists
