Job Summary

We are seeking a Paratransit Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation to the disabled community. As a Paratransit Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring passengers are properly secured and assisted with entries and exits. You will also be responsible for reporting incidents, accidents, and mechanical concerns.

Responsibilities
  • Provide door-to-door transportation for passengers safely and efficiently
  • Ensure passengers are properly secured and provide assistance with all entries and exits
  • Greet passengers, accept fare payment, and maintain a safe environment
  • Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Other duties as required
Requirements
  • At least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • A valid license in good standing
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Punctual with an emphasis on attendance
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, including a background and a drug test
