Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assess bid packages, including sourcing material pricing and conducting risk assessments for estimates.
  • Maintain diligent follow-up on all submitted bids, ensuring alignment with operational and management teams to meet budgetary constraints and project requirements.
  • Analyze and compile data influencing labor costs, material needs, equipment specifications, and other critical factors.
  • Communicate bid details to field operations during pre-construction meetings to ensure clarity on project scope and essential construction methods.
  • Foster and sustain professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to enhance bidding opportunities.
  • Capable of generating conceptual estimates based on limited project information.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, along with the ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications is essential.
  • Experience in reviewing take-off quantities for accuracy and assessing project site conditions is necessary.
