- Coordinate efforts among internal teams, including engineering, mechanics, and maintenance schedulers.

The Director will spearhead the engineering department, focusing on building and maintaining safe and efficient workplaces. This role encompasses the management of infrastructure and the assurance that all internal systems function securely and effectively across multiple production facilities.
Success FactorsTo excel in this position, the ideal candidate will demonstrate confidence in team management while establishing goals, budgets, and timelines for various projects. The director will also oversee integrations with external partners and manage development plans from concept to execution, ensuring the use of cutting-edge technologies that drive productivity and growth.
Essential Duties- Recruit, develop, and maintain a skilled team of mechanics.
- Supervise both front-end and back-end engineering and maintenance teams.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare and oversee the maintenance department's financial budget.
- Design strategic plans for future development aligned with company objectives.
- Identify and recommend technological advancements for long-term planning.
- Facilitate coordination with stakeholders for new tools and integrations.
- Prepare requests for proposals and presentations for project quotations.
- Review and update internal policies related to systems and equipment.
- Collaborate closely with corporate leadership and general managers.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to present ideas effectively.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in a senior maintenance role or similar position.
- Proven track record in team management.
- Experience in managing software development projects with clear requirements and timelines.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud technologies and modern interfaces.
- Hands-on experience in executing maintenance and engineering plans.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a strategic outlook.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- BSc/MSc in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or related fields required.
