Adjunct Professor of History

Job Summary

Laramie County Community College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach History courses. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in History or American Studies and 18 graduate credits in History or a closely related field. The ideal candidate will have a strong teaching background and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Teach assigned History courses, including lectures and discussions
  • Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi and lesson plans
  • Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Requirements
  • Master's degree in History or American Studies from a regionally accredited institution
  • 18 graduate credits in History or a closely related field
  • One year of teaching experience in higher education (preferred)
Working Conditions

The Adjunct Instructor will work on a part-time, non-benefitted basis, teaching courses on a course-by-course basis. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues and students, and to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
