Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Specialist to join our team at Greenlife Healthcare Staffing. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of current experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit and a strong background in assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Expertly assess and diagnose psychiatric problems and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide total medical care for patients.
  • Evaluate the mental health needs of patients and facilitate contraband searches.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, provide psychotherapy services, and administer medications as needed.
  • Coordinate with families, doctors, and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of current experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit.
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency.
  • Unrestricted registered nurse license from any state (United States).
