  • Gather patient information and health background to provide personalized care
  • Take x-rays as necessary to diagnose and treat dental issues
  • Prepare the work area for procedures to ensure a safe and efficient environment
  • Perform prophylaxis and scaling and root planing to maintain patients' oral health
  • Administer localized antibiotic/antimicrobial agents as prescribed by the dentist
  • Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits to promote long-term health
  • Update patient charts to track progress and treatment plans
  • Sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Understanding of dental hygiene procedures and protocols
  • Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques to ensure patient safety
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
