Job Title: Registered Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Pharmacist to join our team at IntelliPro Group Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide indirect patient care under the general direction of the Director of Pharmacy Services. They will work collaboratively with nurses, peers, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver pharmaceutical services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Review patient medication orders against their medication profile in accordance with hospital and pharmacy philosophy, policies, and procedures.
  2. Utilize all aspects of the pharmacy process to meet the age-specific needs of patients in medication education, safety, and patient rights.
  3. Participate in Infection Control, PI, and Risk Management programs, demonstrating competency by completing established standards.
  4. Apply appropriate steps in the decision-making process, including recognition, data collection, priority setting, resource utilization, and offering suggestions through collaboration with the healthcare team.
  5. Ensure productivity through punctuality, observing time limits on breaks, using periods of low activity to benefit the pharmacy/patient, effective time management, and consistent performance.
  6. Show interest and commitment through attendance at in-services, participation in projects/PI, maturation towards own self-development, and maintaining current required license requirements.
  7. Assume accountability for completion of competency standards and accept constructive criticism, following through to implement corrective measures.
  8. Be cooperative and professional in response to change, assistance to peers, and effective communication among the healthcare team.
  9. Be flexible in staffing and adjustment to assignments.
  10. Maintain a positive attitude with positive responses requiring conflict resolution.
  11. Practice cost containment measures.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, dress code, code of conduct, customer service, and meet all mandatory in-services and standards for attendance.
  13. Supervise Pharmacy Assistants.
  14. Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  1. Graduate from an accredited school of Pharmacy with a minimum of a BS in Pharmacy.
  2. Current New York registration.
  3. Successful completion of Hospital and Departmental Orientation Program, according to hospital and Pharmacy policy and procedure.
  4. 1 year of recent hospital experience required.
