Key Responsibilities
The Lead Coffee Specialist is tasked with training Baristas, managing transactions at the register/POS, adhering to recipes for coffee and beverage preparation, and maintaining the coffee bar while providing exceptional customer service and complying with food safety regulations.
COMPENSATION:
The hourly wage for this role ranges from $17.20 to $17.20, influenced by factors such as the applicant's skills and qualifications, relevant degrees and certifications, prior work experience, market data, and other pertinent considerations. Additional compensation may include bonuses or commissions where applicable.
This reflects Aramark's good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position at the time of posting.
Upon hiring, the employee will be in an 'at-will position,' and Aramark reserves the right to adjust base salary (along with any other discretionary payments or compensation programs) at any time and for any reason, including, but not limited to, individual performance, departmental performance, and market conditions.

Job Duties
- Welcome and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
- Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages according to brand standards.
- Prepare and serve food items in accordance with location standards.
- Train and mentor staff in coffee and food preparation, customer service, cash handling, product knowledge, and other processes.
- Schedule and delegate work assignments to the team and coordinate task completion for the location.
- Accurately operate a register/POS and manage cash and credit card transactions.
- Count, organize, and balance the cash drawer, complete cashier slips, and make deposits.
- Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
- Set up and break down the coffee bar, including cleaning and sanitizing.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a successful barista is required.
- Previous cash handling experience is necessary.
- Basic math and counting skills are required.
- Experience in a supervisory or related role is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must adhere to the required dress code.
- Proficiency in reading and communicating in English and following recipes.
- Completion of Food Handling Certification as required.
- This role may involve physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing.
This position may also require uniforms and/or the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
