Job Title: Per Diem Paramedic

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Per Diem Paramedic to join our team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary:

As a Per Diem Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations
  • Work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and technologies
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Paramedic or PHRN in the Commonwealth of PA or eligible for and completion of reciprocity process, if certified in another state
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 30 days of start date
  • Valid Driver's license or eligible for a Commonwealth of PA driver's license if out of state
  • PA DOH EMSVO certification within 30 days of start date
  • HazMat Awareness Training and NIMS (100, 200, 700, 800) required within 30 days of start date
  • Must obtain Medical Command within 90 days of start date
