Job Title: Medical/Dental Care Coordinator

Job Summary:

Dawson is seeking a highly skilled Medical/Dental Care Coordinator to join our team. As a Medical/Dental Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Medical and Dental Case Management Services for the Florida Army National Guard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a management reporting system to track correspondence with Service Members, patient encounters, and referrals.
  • Travel to pre-approved locations to assist in medical readiness classification conversions.
  • Assist Nurse Case Managers with administrative functions.
  • Update electronic Soldier Treatment Records with relevant medical/dental documentation.
  • Communicate with unit designees for case-related documentation.

Requirements:

  • Valid US driver's license.
  • Associates Degree in Human Services or related field.
  • Five years' experience working with people experiencing medical/dental problems.
  • Knowledge of common assessment tools used by medical/dental professionals.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience interacting with difficult clientele.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical skills in MEDCHART, Medical Protection System (MEDPROS), and Medical Operational Data System (MODS).
  • Working knowledge of Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment regulations.
