About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Specialist to join our team at Wabash. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in identifying and implementing process improvements across all functions of the enterprise.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support lean improvement efforts, including the implementation of the Wabash Management System (WMS) and other lean methodologies.
  • Deliver foundational skills training and coaching to ensure the successful integration of skills into WMS processes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make revisions as needed to ensure processes align with corporate policies.
  • Analyze program progress and identify areas for continuous improvement of WMS programs.
  • Report team performance, implementation schedules, and assessments to Senior Leadership Team.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest knowledge of WMS and Enterprise Lean techniques and share information with team members.
  • Coordinate multiple continuous improvement projects concurrently with internal customers.
  • Develop short-range and long-range plans with internal customers to transform the value stream and remove waste.
  • Maintain budget and meet deadlines during projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Supply Chain, or Organizational Leadership & Supervision.
  • Two to three years of continuous improvement experience with demonstrated deployment of lean concepts.
  • Lean Experience & Six-Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience constructing Value Stream Maps (current and future states), identifying improvements, and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to problem solve using known processes (PDCA, DMAIC, etc.) to deliver results.
