Job Description

Job Title: Meat Market Trainee

At All American Quality Food Inc, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Market Trainee to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in meat cutting and merchandising with proper trim
  • Operate and maintain meat cutting equipment, including band saws, safely and efficiently
  • Follow proper Safety and Sanitation Procedures at all times
  • Develop skills and experience necessary to become a Meat Cutter
  • Assist in unloading trucks and maintaining accurate inventory counts
  • Wrap meat and maintain display cases as needed
  • Assist in checking in trucks and performing other duties as assigned by the Meat Manager on Duty

Requirements:

  • Ability to cut and trim meat to specifications using company guidelines
  • Ability to follow instructions and basic proficiency in mathematics (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Ability to safely work near or around meat cutting and grinding equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with control

Physical Demands:

The Meat Market Trainee will be required to stand, walk, reach, twist, bend, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements throughout the day.
