Job Description

At All American Quality Food Inc, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Market Trainee to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in meat cutting and merchandising with proper trim

• Safely operate and maintain meat cutting equipment, including band saws

• Follow proper Safety and Sanitation Procedures

• Develop skills and experience necessary to become a Meat Cutter

• Assist in unloading trucks and maintaining accurate inventory counts

• Wrap meat and work display cases as needed

• Assist in check-in of trucks and other duties assigned by the Meat Manager on Duty

Requirements:

• Ability to cut and trim meat to specifications using company guidelines

• Basic proficiency in mathematics (counting, addition, subtraction)

Physical Demands:

• Ability to safely work near or around meat cutting and grinding equipment

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with control

• Standing, walking, reaching, twisting, bending, and repetitive arm and hand movements are required for this position
