Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at HealthPro Heritage, LLC. This is a full-time position offering 30-40 hours of work per week in skilled nursing facilities.

This Speech Language Pathologist opportunity allows you to work in multiple settings, including Maple Lane in Barton, VT, Union House Nursing Home in Glover, VT, and Pines Rehab and Health Center in Lyndonville, VT. Our flexible schedule accommodates snow/weather days and unexpected school closings, ensuring you have a balance between work and personal life.

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations.
  • Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess a degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution. You should also hold valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist or be license eligible. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
