Position Overview: The Security Operations Supervisor at Walden Security is responsible for overseeing, directing, and coordinating the activities of all assigned Security Officers at the field level, ensuring adherence to established standards and compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary supervisor during off-hours when Operations Staff are unavailable.
  • Serve as an armed, uniformed officer, legally authorized to carry a firearm in designated areas.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of both Specific and General Post instructions for all Branch locations, including emergency protocols as required by clients.
  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned posts and accounts utilizing a company-provided vehicle.
  • Exercise decision-making authority in alignment with Walden policies.
  • Address and relieve any security officer found in violation of company rules and regulations.
  • Provide oversight for all posts and security personnel, including conducting inspections and random visits to ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate on-the-job training for newly assigned security officers as needed.
  • Respond to alarms from buildings, facilities, and ATMs as required within the assigned area.
  • Address urgent client requests for services or modifications to existing services.
  • Communicate critical issues to the Field Manager or Operations Manager that require immediate attention.
  • Document daily activities and incidents on the Daily Inspection Report (DIR) for review by management.
  • Fill in for any vacant posts during shifts with off-duty security personnel and cover shifts as necessary until qualified officers can be scheduled.
  • Inspect doors, windows, and gates of assigned posts to ensure security.
  • Issue warnings for rule violations such as loitering or carrying prohibited items, and remove individuals engaging in suspicious or criminal behavior.
  • Log inspection times and conduct random inspections at watch stations.

Compensation: Pay Rate: $19 USD
