About the Role

The Texas Tech Club is seeking a skilled Server to provide exceptional hospitality to Members and Guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering ultimate customer satisfaction while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain knowledge of the menu and special items to ensure accurate ordering and presentation.
  • Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to banquet guests, communicating clearly with all customers.
  • Ensure food items are served at the proper temperature and immediately upon availability from the kitchen.
  • Pre-bus tables and full buses tables during peak periods to maintain a clean and efficient environment.
  • Stock beverage stations as needed, including ice, juices, glassware, and sugar packets.
  • Maintain high responsiveness to customer desires and requests, communicating effectively with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff.
  • Build and maintain knowledge of bar offerings to accurately answer patron questions.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment is preferred.
  • A High School Diploma, G.E.D., or related Food Service Job Experience is required.
  • A Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings must be acquired and maintained.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner.
