Key Responsibilities
  • Lead electrical construction and renovation projects, ensuring timely and reliable communication with all stakeholders.
  • Provide professional direction to project teams, guiding them to achieve common goals and successful projects.
  • Mentor and guide PM staff with less experience, supporting successful project delivery at all levels.
  • Assist with development of project scope, budget, and schedule for multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
  • Track project budgets and schedules, developing reports as directed.
  • Keep facilities database software up to date, reflecting current project services and agreements.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stay current with legislation, building codes, building materials, and methods, as well as university design and construction standards.
  • Learn and maintain awareness of project safety requirements, following OSHA standards.
  • Participate on committees and task forces to improve departmental mission and customer service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
