Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy. This role will provide administrative support to the Occupational Therapy Department, ensuring timely implementation of policies and processes necessary to achieve the operational and administrative goals of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary administrative support to the Occupational Therapy Department Head and leadership team, including scheduling meetings and preparing agendas.
  • Coordinate faculty affairs, including promotion and tenure processes, annual reports, and departmental meetings.
  • Manage departmental searches, generate contracts, and maintain local employment records.
  • Supervise student workers and evaluate their performance.
  • Manage office equipment, supplies, and expenses, and analyze budgets and generate reports.
  • Coordinate departmental communications, events, and logistics, including event planning, budgeting, and vendor management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Experience in administrative roles, preferably in higher education.
