We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and deliver respiratory care services to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions.
- Perform diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, including the application and operation of acute care ventilators.
- Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
- Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS health care provider certification.
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
