Department: Store / Warehouse

FLSA: Non-Exempt

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In the Utility position, you will apply your skills in shop operations, machinery repair, disassembly, inspection, testing, and reassembly. As a self-driven and customer-focused individual, you will efficiently manage the following responsibilities.

Supervision:

This role reports directly to the location manager and does not involve supervising other staff members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing ongoing customer support;
  • Executing specific location tasks with diligence;
  • Following all maintenance and safety protocols;
  • Engaging in Special Projects;
  • Maintaining punctual attendance as per schedule;
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
This position requires a solid understanding and proficiency in general labor tasks.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred;
  • A clean Motor Vehicle Report and successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening are required;
Work Requirements:
  • Familiarity with automotive components and repair processes;
  • Safe handling and upkeep of shop machinery;
  • Technical and mechanical skills for daily tasks;
  • Resourcefulness in addressing challenges;
  • Effective resolution of customer inquiries;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment;

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently, with assistance for heavier items;
  • Engagement in various physical activities such as sitting, standing, and bending;
  • Visual acuity and exposure to diverse environmental conditions;
  • Potential exposure to challenging elements like chemicals and extreme temperatures;
  • Significant mobility is necessary.
