Participants will undergo an intensive 4-6 week scholarship in Advanced Manufacturing, transition into a Production Associate role at Gigafactory Nevada upon course completion, and achieve a Production Operator Certification after accumulating 2000 hours of practical experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Fulfill program obligations: Enroll as an MDP Associate to complete 4-6 weeks of coursework at an accredited institution.
- Transition into a Production Associate role to gain 2000 hours of hands-on experience at Gigafactory Nevada, performing intricate assembly tasks using state-of-the-art manufacturing tools and precision measuring instruments.
- Exhibit punctuality and the ability to adhere to both verbal and written instructions for specialized equipment.
- Report technical issues to the relevant support teams and leadership.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
- Assess assembly processes and equipment for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and support cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to acquire new skills and adapt to diverse work environments.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Open to flexible scheduling, including availability for various shifts and weekends.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, up to 12 hours daily.
- Ability to execute repetitive tasks, including climbing stairs and standing for prolonged durations on varied terrain.
- Regularly lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs, and navigate steps.
- Frequently bend, lift, reach, stoop, and perform other physical movements for extended periods.
- Ability to identify issues in work processes and respond to safety signals using sight, touch, or hearing.
- Potential exposure to confined spaces and hazardous materials.
- Compliance with Personal Protective Equipment requirements, including safety glasses and shoes, while following prescribed safety guidelines.
