Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for administering all forms of respiratory care and treatment to patients, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal ventilation, non-invasive positive pressure ventilation, and aerosolized medications. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and be committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer respiratory care and treatment to patients, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide education to patients and families on respiratory care and treatment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in respiratory care
