Job Summary

PACE Supply is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our team at our Distribution Center in Stockton, CA. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of incoming products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and prioritize orders through supervisor-issued work tags.
  • Retrieve items from inventory using manual methods and/or forklifts.
  • Perform material handling tasks, including reaching, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Pull material as needed to maintain production workstations.
  • Unload products from trucks by hand or with forklift operation.
  • Verify items against paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and track inventory levels.
  • Receive multiple shipments on a regular basis while verifying order accuracy.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal, written, and reading communication skills.
  • Dedication to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in time management, consistently meeting responsibilities within designated timeframes.
  • Collaborative mindset, fostering positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external interactions with customers and manufacturers.
  • Basic math skills, including counting and performing computations up to four digits.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including keyboarding.
  • Proficient in English, including reading, writing, and oral communication.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, considering all factors and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Adherence to workplace rules, methods, policies, and procedures.
Work Environment

  • Stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear for prolonged periods.
  • Lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
