Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to fill the role of Juvenile Justice Detention Officer I. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of youth in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and supervision to youth in a detention setting
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address the needs of youth
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support services
  • Monitor and report on youth behavior and progress
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as corrections or youth services
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications
