Job Title: Entry-Level Developmental Therapist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our team in Thornton, Colorado.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about child development and is committed to providing high-quality care to children with autism and their families. As a Developmental Therapist, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters the growth and development of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized developmental plans that promote the cognitive, social, and emotional growth of our clients.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement play-based routines that transform everyday child care moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing regular insights on their child's progress and offering guidance rooted in best child care practices.
  • Work effectively on a team to ensure seamless continuity of care from diagnosis through therapy.
Qualifications
  • Genuine interest and prior experience in child care roles such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or similar or related educational experiences (e.g. bachelors in psychology or child development).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building connections with young children and their families.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team and collaborate with our interdisciplinary team.
