Job Title: Developmental Therapist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled Developmental Therapist to join our team in Thornton, Colorado.

Job Description

We are dedicated to providing exceptional care to children with autism and their families. As a Developmental Therapist, you will play a vital role in our mission-driven care model, working closely with our expert Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to children aged 2-6.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement intervention plans developed by our BCBAs, ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles
  • Build rapport and maintain ongoing communication with families, providing regular updates on their child's progress within the ABA framework
  • Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in ABA therapy and maintain certification
Qualifications
  • Preferably enrolled in or completed a degree program, with a focus on Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (Soar provides paid training)
  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with autism, and a passion for helping them thrive
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
