Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori in Wilton, Connecticut. As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that encourages independence, exploration, and socialization. You will work closely with parents to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Create a prepared environment that stimulates cognitive, physical, and emotional growth
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual needs and interests
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with other guides to plan activities and events
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience working with toddlers in a group setting
  • Certification in Montessori Method (AMS or MACTE accredited)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
