Job Description

As a Speech Therapist with Grand Lake Health System, you will be working as a contract employee in our Pediatric Center. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate patient care with other departments and staff within the Rehab Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients in a timely manner and establish a plan of care.
  • Develop effective treatment plans and obtain approval for services from referring physicians.
  • Record evaluations, treatment notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record.
  • Communicate effectively with pediatric patients and their caregivers/parents.

Requirements:

  • Must have a current unrestricted Ohio license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Experience:

  • Previous experience is preferred but not required.
