Position Description:
The Department of Neurology is seeking exceptional candidates for a full-time, open rank faculty role in Neurocritical Care, available in both tenure and non-tenure tracks.
The ideal candidate will engage in inpatient care, provide consultations, and participate in the education and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows, while also having a strong interest in research initiatives.
Collaborative opportunities for clinical and research endeavors are plentiful.
Available resources include the McKnight Brain Institute, Institute on Aging, Clinical and Translational Science Institute, and various centers focused on neurological diseases and research.
The University is recognized as a leading research institution with substantial annual funding, ranking among the top public universities nationally.
The health system associated with the university is a comprehensive academic health center, distinguished by its diverse array of health colleges, centers, and institutes.
The surrounding area is known for its vibrant culture, educational opportunities, and recreational activities, making it an attractive location for professionals.
Compensation:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O.
Required qualifications include completion of a neurology residency and an accredited neurocritical care fellowship, with board certification or eligibility in neurocritical care.
Preferred Experience:
A minimum of three years in an inpatient NeuroICU environment is preferred.
