Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapy Aide to join our team at the Child and Adolescent IP Psych Department. As a Mental Health Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental illness and developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals and living successfully in the community.
Responsibilities:
* Provide behavior therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities under the guidance of licensed clinicians
* Support and instruct individuals in developing necessary skills for personal growth and independence
* Assist in creating and implementing individualized treatment plans
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* One year of full-time direct patient care experience in a mental health setting preferred
Work Environment:
* Full-time position with a 40-hour work week
* Evening shift, every other weekend, and holidays
