Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor and report patient condition, identifying and responding to changes in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current state RN license or current RN licensure with a multistate compact state.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date.
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.
  • Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.
