Position Overview

SAIC is seeking a Senior Regional Intelligence Analyst with a dedicated emphasis on worldwide threat surveillance across various military command areas, including AFRICOM, CENTCOM, EUCOM, SOUTHCOM, and NORTHCOM. This role involves high-level intelligence production for executive staff at II MEF.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison with organizations and agencies within the Intelligence Community to facilitate daily threat evaluations.
  • Serve as the lead analyst and team supervisor for intelligence production aimed at the Commanding General of II MEF and Primary Staff, providing daily updates.
  • Ensure quality control and perform senior editing for intelligence outputs as necessary.
  • Engage in a comprehensive range of multi-disciplinary intelligence production tasks, which include preparing intelligence for operational environments, developing situational awareness, and supporting force protection initiatives.
  • Gather, assess, interpret, and disseminate intelligence-related information to enhance the understanding of foreign capabilities, particularly focusing on Russian military strengths.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with various intelligence sub-disciplines and Intelligence Community organizations to bolster II MEF production efforts.
  • Train personnel on watch-floor processes to guarantee that intelligence outputs are relevant, precise, and comply with established standards.
  • Generate weekly status reports as required by II MEF.

Qualifications

Essential Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with fourteen (14) years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with twelve (12) years of experience; or four (4) years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Security Clearance Requirement:

  • Must possess an active Top Secret clearance with the capability to obtain TS/SCI.

Necessary Skills:

  • Proficient in the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP), Joint Planning Process (JPP), or similar military planning methodologies.
  • Experience supporting Service, COCOM, or Joint Staff operations.
  • Ability to create planning and briefing materials suitable for General Officer level presentations.
  • Willingness to learn new software and programming tools.
