About the Role:

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and driving business growth. You will be responsible for leading a team of Pharmacy Technicians, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Safety: Ensure the safe handling and administration of medications, and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Develop and implement patient care programs, and provide education and support to patients and caregivers.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve pharmacy operations, and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, and respond to patient and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Personnel Management: Lead and develop a team of Pharmacy Technicians, and ensure they have the necessary training and support to perform their duties.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, and ensure that medications and supplies are properly stocked and maintained.
  • Financial Profitability: Analyze and improve pharmacy operations to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks, and take steps to prevent losses and minimize financial impact.
  • Workflow Management: Develop and implement efficient workflows, and ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Active Pharmacy License: Hold a current and active pharmacy license in the state in which you are employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Hold certification in immunization administration through an accredited organization.
  • Background Check: Pass a background check, and be free of any felony convictions or pending charges related to controlled substances.
  • Education: Hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
