Overview:
The Vice President of EPC will spearhead the engineering and construction division. The primary objective will be to drive Business Development, identifying commercial opportunities within the energy sector.
This role entails direct oversight of negotiating and managing all engineering and construction agreements for large-scale renewable energy projects, including wind and solar initiatives.
Complete accountability for formulating the contracting strategy for engineering and construction services, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and risk management framework.
A senior-level contributor, this position is pivotal in propelling the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive management of all contracts related to engineering and construction endeavors.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen to effectively oversee contracts.
- Execution of projects while adhering to safety standards, budget constraints, and timelines.
- Formulate strategies for contracting services.
- Develop and lead a small team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in the Management Consultancy sector.
- Robust commercial background in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC).
- Over 10 years of experience in negotiating and managing contracts with multiple stakeholders and diverse contract structures.
- More than 10 years in engineering design, project management, and construction of wind and solar projects.
- Familiarity with IEE, ASCE, and OSHA standards.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is essential.
- Experience across various regions in North America is preferred.
- Field experience is advantageous.
