Position Overview:
Northtowns Cardiology is in search of a committed Registered Nurse to enhance our vibrant outpatient Cardiology division. While previous experience in Cardiology is beneficial, it is not a mandatory requirement.
Work Schedule:
Enjoy a well-structured work-life balance with a Monday to Friday schedule, free from evening shifts, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed history taking and systems analysis.
  • Utilize the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system efficiently, with knowledge of Medent being an advantage.
  • Administer medications with precise documentation.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of medical documentation.
  • Oversee patient appointment scheduling and demonstrate proficiency with the telephone system.
  • Interpret holter monitor data.
  • Administer stress tests.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Hold a valid NYS RN License without restrictions.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Exhibit compassion and deliver outstanding patient care.
  • Demonstrate general computer skills, capable of entering medications, vital signs, allergies, and medical histories.
  • Ability to respond swiftly to medical emergencies.
  • Experience with EMR systems, preferably Medent.
