Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our educational team in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate student needs and develop appropriate interventions.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
  • Collaborate with school staff to create a positive learning environment and promote student well-being.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs to enhance student mental health and academic performance.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of services provided.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies and interventions.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Ohio Department of Education Pupil Services License with a School Psychologist endorsement.
  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, educators, and community agencies.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in school psychology.
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 educational setting is preferred.
  • Experience with diverse student populations and a range of disabilities.
