Dialysis Patient Care Technician

Fresenius Medical Care North America seeks a skilled Dialysis Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a member of our dialysis healthcare team, you will provide safe and effective home dialysis therapy and training for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the setup of home dialysis equipment and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Support the organization's commitment to the Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and CQI Activities.
- Collaborate with patients, care partners, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling patient appointments and tracking supplies.
- Participate in medical records, infection control, and other audit processes as directed.
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Valid PCT national certification or state-specific certification as defined by the Center for Medicaid/Medicare (CMS).
- At least five years of patient care experience in a hospital setting or a related facility preferred.
