Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Pharmacy Technician PRN to join our team at Jennie Stuart Medical Center. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
  • Operate a variety of pharmacy equipment, including automated dispensing systems and barcode scanners
  • Prepare and package medications for dispensing to patients
  • Process and manage inventory of medications and supplies
  • Assist with medication therapy management and patient education
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
