The Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Associate to join our Quality department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining, reviewing, and releasing documents, records, and logs according to our established procedures. Your attention to detail and ability to identify and communicate issues to management will be essential in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our documents.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough reviews and releases of quality documents and records
  • Ensure all controlled documents are up-to-date, properly formatted, and meet company and regulatory requirements
  • Assign training tasks and monitor compliance, escalating issues to management as needed
  • Accurately document completed tasks in accordance with established requirements
  • Review drafted documents for consistency, formatting, and clarity
  • Maintain Quality logs, collaborating with process owners as applicable
  • Support the continuous improvement of document control processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Utilize various computer software for documentation, training, and reporting
Requirements
  • US High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in a document control role
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Skilled in meticulously reviewing documents for typographical and formatting inconsistencies
  • Patience and perseverance in repeatedly checking for and ensuring quality
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the medical device industry
  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint
  • Experience working at a startup
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word, including the ability to format complex documents, create tables, and utilize advanced features
  • Expertise across Microsoft Office Suite, including proficiency in Adobe
