Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee and manage overall project activities, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and resolution of issues while adhering to company and project standards.
  • Facilitate comprehensive project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, action item follow-ups, material procurement, and meeting minutes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets from inception through to project completion.
  • Assist the project team in processing necessary documentation for project approvals, including purchase orders and work orders.
  • Collaborate with the Project Team to address challenges and propose solutions to management.
  • Represent the company in meetings with clients and subcontractors.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to field personnel assigned to your area of responsibility.
  • Monitor the progress of other contractors both remotely and through on-site visits.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and complete required training in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Hands-on experience in the electrical utilities sector.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, along with scheduling software (experience with Microsoft Project and/or Smartsheet is advantageous).
  • Strong organizational and scheduling capabilities.
  • The flexibility to travel as required to meet client needs.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple project timelines effectively.
  • A strong work ethic and professionalism, with the capacity to handle various tasks in an organized manner and meet tight deadlines.
  • A valid Texas driver’s license and a clean driving record.
