Job Summary: We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at A-Line Staffing Solutions. This is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist and in accordance with state pharmacy regulations.
Perform at least one higher level pharmacy technician responsibility in addition to filling prescriptions, such as Control Room, MTS (prepack machines), inventory control (purchasing), data entry, IVs, servicing facility-based medication dispensing machines.
Fill prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy, packaging medications for dispensing and for delivery, meeting the accuracy and productivity standards of the pharmacy.
Requirements:
Verifiable High School Diploma
Attendance mandatory for first 90 days
Pharmacy Technician license in the state of MA required
National Certifications preferred
1 year of pharmacy tech experience – long-term care setting preferred
Benefits:
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance. A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
