Laundry Operations

  • Execute daily laundry responsibilities as directed.
  • Carry out designated tasks in line with daily operational assignments.
  • Wash, sanitize, and maintain resident garments consistently.
  • Dry resident garments on a regular basis.
  • Organize, fold, and deliver resident garments to their respective rooms promptly.
  • Eliminate dirt, dust, grease, and residues from surfaces using appropriate cleaning and disinfecting agents.
  • Dispose of waste materials in designated containers and ensure trash receptacles are lined with plastic liners.
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure that equipment, tools, and supplies are stored correctly at all times, including during breaks and at the end of shifts.
  • Implement isolation cleaning protocols in accordance with established infection control guidelines.
  • Dispose of hazardous waste in suitable containers.

Respect for Residents

  • Uphold the confidentiality of resident information.
  • Knock before entering a resident's living space.
  • Respect the personal and property rights of residents.
  • Notify residents when it is necessary to relocate their personal items during cleaning activities.
