About the Role

Aramark is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Director to lead the development and implementation of our sustainability strategy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving our efforts to reduce waste, carbon emissions, and promote sustainable practices across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Sustainability Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with Aramark's business objectives.
  • Lead Sustainability Initiatives: Drive the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, energy conservation, and sustainable procurement.
  • Build a Culture of Sustainability: Foster a culture of sustainability within Aramark, engaging employees at all levels to promote sustainable practices and behaviors.
  • Communicate Sustainability Results: Develop and implement a communication plan to share sustainability results and progress with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and investors.
  • Collaborate with Operations Teams: Work closely with operations teams to integrate sustainability into daily operations, ensuring seamless execution of sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sustainability Background: Proven experience in sustainability leadership, with a deep understanding of sustainability principles, practices, and industry trends.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically, develop and implement comprehensive sustainability plans, and drive business results.
  • Collaborative Leader: Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve sustainability goals.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex sustainability concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Results-Oriented: Proven track record of delivering results-driven sustainability initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
