As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of approximately 20-25 employees and ensuring the smooth operation of patient transportation services.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation Management: Maintain and inspect transport equipment, as well as related logistics, documentation, and reporting.
- Patient Experience: Create a positive patient experience by setting the tone and culture of patient expectations, including the provision of concierge transport services, through a compassionate bedside manner.
- Service Response Center: Respond to and/or manage calls through the Service Response Center.
- Patient Satisfaction: Drive patient satisfaction scores by ensuring excellent customer service and follow-through with action items that impact both client and patient satisfaction.
- Environmental Safety: Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Collaboration: Work with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Operational Efficiency: Effectively manage the Unit Operating System and support a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Leadership Experience: 2 years of management experience in a healthcare setting.
- Transportation Knowledge: Knowledge of patient care services in a healthcare setting and experience with transportation management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills required.
- Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Certifications: BLS certification required.
