OVERVIEW

If you are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and dedicated to enhancing resident experiences, this role as a Leasing Community Intern is an excellent fit for you. In this position, you will collaborate with a team to optimize occupancy levels and address the leasing requirements of our community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by surpassing client expectations.
  • Manage administrative duties at the front desk.
  • Engage in Cardinal Way of Leasing (CWoL) training.
  • Interact with potential clients using the Cardinal Way of Leasing principles, including warm greetings and effective sales techniques.
  • Assist in processing lease applications and associated documentation.
  • Ensure accurate lease records in accordance with company protocols.
  • Stay updated on market dynamics through competitive analysis and training sessions.
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming tour path to create a positive impression of the community.
  • Exhibit professionalism in interactions with team members, residents, and vendors.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of community events.
  • Support various community initiatives as assigned.
  • Participate in mandatory Cardinal U training.
  • Be available for 'on-call' responsibilities as necessary.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current or prospective leaseholder of the community.
  • Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Availability for approximately 20 hours of work per week, including evenings and weekends.

  • Additional availability may be necessary during peak periods.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Interns will work in various indoor and outdoor settings across the property, with exposure to different environmental conditions. Reasonable accommodations can be arranged for individuals with disabilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Team Members must meet physical requirements to navigate property areas and perform duties in varying weather conditions. The ability to lift, carry, and move weights up to 40 pounds is essential, along with good vision capabilities.
